The word is highly versatile and often paired with "no" to create the phrase "no pilikia," which is the local equivalent of "no problem" or "no worries." While it is perfectly acceptable for visitors to use "no pilikia" when responding to an apology or a thank you, causing unnecessary pilikia over minor inconveniences is heavily frowned upon.
